An Unwavering Commitment to Quality Care

Dr. Sona considers it essential to develop strong relationships with parents and caregivers. She empower parents and patients alike with credible, non-intimidating information and guidance on preventive care. This compassionate approach supports the creation of a dental “home” for families in and around Greensboro, NC. Care that you can trust provided within a warm and home-like setting is vital to setting a strong foundation for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful, and happy smiles.

Pediatric dentistry is Dr. Sona’s priority

At other practices, caring for children’s mouths may be just one of many services offered by general dentists. Dr. Sona, however, cares for children and children only. After earning undergraduate, graduate, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of North Carolina, Dr. Sona Isharani acquired certification in pediatric dentistry following the successful completion of a three-year program in this specialized discipline at the University of Maryland Dental School. Additionally, Dr. Sona demonstrated proficiency in growth and development, behavioral management, and clinical training as a fellow at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Sona completed the rigorous requirements necessary to attain Board certification as a pediatric dentist. She also maintains active membership with a range of professional associations, near and far, not limited to the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Care that grows with your child

Pediatric dentistry is not yet another “service” that Dr. Sona Isharani provides. It is her true passion and all that she does. Yet, as children grow, they never have to leave the Triad Pediatric Dentistry team that they know and trust. They simply transition over to our adult practice. Your family doesn’t “graduate out” of our dental family. This provides peace of mind and the continuity of care that supports optimal oral health and wellbeing.
